Rick Knight is the founder and Chief Servant officer at Servant Financial Group, a financial services firm dedicated to providing financial planning solutions to the special needs community as well as the pastoral profession.
Prior to realizing how underserved and marginalized the special needs community was, and starting Servant Financial Group. Rick worked for some of the largest financial services companies in the industry as an advisor and benefit consultant, with companies Mass Mutual and Metlife.
Over the past twenty-two years Rick Knight, has held six professional securities and insurance licenses. Rick has experience in life insurance planning, retirement and pension plans, IRA rollovers, endowment start-ups, special needs trust planning, mutual funds.
Rick Knight has written and published five books covering various financial planning issues and concerns. Recently, Rick has started the ambitious initiative do raise ten million dollars for the special needs community which will target financial education, financial inclusion and economic empowerment. This initiative is duly named Y.A.N.A Nation.
Rick has hosted is own financial advice radio show, been a financial contributor to Black Enterprise Magazine, created and taught his own financial literacy curriculum at both the high school and university level, including Georgia State University and the Atlanta Job Corps.
Rick Knight was recognized in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta and is a proud veteran of the United States Army. Currently Mr. Knight serves as a citizen sheriff with the Fulton County Sheriffs Department.
